Besame Cosmetics Is Creating An Avengers: Infinity War Collection!

Hold onto your popcorn, kittens! In the week leading up to the release of Avengers: Infinity War, Besame’s throwing down the gauntlet on cosmetic collaborations with a mini Marvel collection!

The brand made the surprise announcement in a livestream of its Agent Carter collection launch during Disneyland’s Dapper Day celebration. It’s an annual celebration at Disney parks where guests are invited to show off their “refined style from yesterday and today with fun accessories and events.” (Which my pal Misti, who also runs CousinsWhoDisney, told me about) The collection is modeled after the highly coveted Infinity Stones that we’ve seen pop up throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe that are tied to different aspects of the universe. And with Thanos having all of those all-powerful and brightly colored gems in hand, the universe is in for a world of hurt unless the Avengers and the Guardians of The Galaxy can save it.

So what’s in the mini-collection? It’ll include a set of ’60s-style, scented lava lamp lip glosses, housed in chic glass rollerballs, as well as a set of eyeshadows, not a palette.Though I have yet to hear anything about what the lipglosses actually smell like, I’m guessing they’ll be fruity to fit with the colors. Prices and a release date haven’t been set yet, but it was stated that prices will likely be in the $30s during Besame’s livestream of the event. Disney vlogger Tiffany Mink took to her Instagram stories to share swatches of the upcoming gauntlet shadows. Each vibrant shade appears to be highly pigmented with a metallic finish — perfect to channel your inner superhero or villain.

The news comes on the heels of the brand announcing new additions to the Agent Carter collection, which officially drops on April 23rd (but it’s already searchable on the site!). The 102 Sweet Dreams Lipstick that was featured in the sold-out Field Agent Kit will be available on its own as well as an Invisible Dusting Powder (a product I predicted!) so you can score the perfect red lip while powdering your nose to perfection. Besame is also releasing a Passport Shadow Palette which contains six shadows inspired by the series, including Dugan (shimmery brown), Zero Matter (shimmery buttery beige), English (shimmery pastel pink), Allies (sparkling army green), Leviathan (deep matte purple), and Midnight Oil (dark matte brown).

But this isn’t the only Avengers-inspired cosmetic collaboration hitting shelves soon! Marvel also teamed up with Her Universe to create another collection, which is already available at Hot Topic. The most eye-catching is the pumped-up eye palette which features 12 shadows: six glittery jewel tones for the Infinity Stones and six neutrals, including a shimmery white called Cosmic, a deep matte brown called Deviants and sparkly black aptly called Annihilation. There are also Infinity Stone-inspired bath bombs, colored lipglosses, and a faux nail collection (gotta keep the stones at your fingertips). Plus, there’s even a fragrance called Infinity, so you can “smell like a hero.” The Marvel-inspired aroma has notes of forest fruit, jasmine sambac, honeysuckle, sandalwood, amber, caramel, and vanilla.

With all of these incredible and unique pieces of merch, Marvel’s about to have all of our money before we even get to see the movie! But I think that each collection is going to get a lot of love and will likely sell out, so we’ll all be keeping our eyes peeled for when Besame’s dropping the gauntlet so we don’t miss out.
